Brrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Four brave bikers headed out for Abita Springs from the Phoenix in 40 degree weather on Sunday, February 8. The heavy overcast kept the temperatures from rising at all. We got as far as Slidell and had to defrost in a convenience store. Alan decided to continue, but Doc, her friend Charles, and David all decided to head back to New Orleans. We had lunch at La Peniche and warmed up again. We'll make it to Abita Springs someday.
